Local candidates only, please.WHO YOU AREYou are an experienced SDET, looking for an opportunity to own end-to-end responsibility for the overall quality of assigned areas/projects, while working with the QA team and other stakeholders to ensure software products are shipped on time and at the highest quality possible. WHAT YOU WILL DOYou will be responsible for developing test automation using provided frameworks and harnesses. You will maintain our own internal products utilized by other members of the QA and Development teams -- including test automation, systems, and tools independent of customer-facing products. You will also:

  • Maintain test plans and suites, create and update test cases
  • Execute both manual and automated test cases
  • Author and maintain test case automation, including debugging and reviewing peer code
  • File defect reports, prioritize and follow-up on bugs, report status
  • Participate and work with team & organization on expanding and modifying automated test coverage as needed
  • Work towards improving quality processes, continuously grow skills and capabilityWHAT WE REQUIRE
    • 5+ years working in a Software Quality or Development discipline
    • 2+ years' professional work experience in QA
    • Experience creating test automation
    • Experience working with developers, program managers, and other stakeholders in a software company
    • Extensive knowledge of computer systems, tools, and operation
    • Solid understanding of programming concepts
    • Excellent communication and time management skills
    • Ability to work both independently and to coordinate with SDETs and other members of QA
    • Ability to learn new products, tools, and concepts quickly
    • Passionate about software quality
    • Demonstrated use of one or more of the listed languages, API testing tools, and strong understanding of the familiar skill list below:
    • Language skills may include: JavaScript / ECMA, C#, .NET 5, Java, Python, bash, and powershell
    • API testing with Postman, SoapUI, Jmeter, or similar
    • Familiarity with TestComplete and/or other UI automation tools
    • Familiarity with one or more source control management tools
    • Familiarity with building and using virtual machines
    • Familiarity with databases, such as SQL and/or NoSQL typesEDUCATION
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experienceTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
