TITLE: Contract Specialist
LOCATION: Bellevue, WA

Contract Specialist
The Contract Specialist (CS) reports to the Director of Contracts;
key activities are to negotiate, plan, coordinate review,
administer documents and obtain approvals for assigned incoming
Contracts performed by TP in support of corporate activities and
client projects, including government contracts and subcontracts.
This position implements approved process for initiating,
developing, issuing monitoring and closing out external Contracts.
The CS will contribute to enhancing the success of projects by
limiting the overall risks and liability associated with customer
negotiations and contract administration, subcontract sourcing,
pricing, evaluating, negotiating and obtaining materials, equipment
and/or construction services. This position will coordinate the
review of client contracts and provides negotiation support when
required. The position interfaces with Procurement, when directed,
to provide support for implementing subcontracting. In addition,
the Contract Specialist assists with the development of corporate
and supplier strategy.

TerraPower's technology is controlled for export by various
agencies of the U.S. Government. TerraPower must evaluate

control reviews, you will be asked as part of the application
process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or national,

Government export authorization approval times vary. Based on the
business needs for a particular position, TerraPower may not
consider a foreign national from a country if it is impracticable
to obtain timely Government export approval.

Salary Range: $105,236.88- $193,384
Job Type: Full-time
Benefits:
*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 - 1.0 of the
mid-point of the posted salary band. Any salary offered within the
posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with
the selected individual's qualifications and experience. This range
is specific to Washington State.
