In this role youll be responsible for the review of contractor construction scopes against contract requirements, regulatory requirements, permit conditions, and Environmental Management Requirements and the oversight of contractors Surface water Management Plan. Using your experience, youll ensure compliance with federal regulations, and investigating compliance and conformance, perform effective record keeping of environmental observations and compliance monitoring activities and provide Qualified Environmental Professional oversight and input into environmental compliance. Part of your role will include conduct and documenting pre-disturbance and construction monitoring activities, document action items, and close out, inspection of construction activities against permit conditions and regulations.The working conditions include project site/active construction site/roads and highways/field working conditions. Onsite-site project workspace of various conditions which may include temporary office facilities and exposure to moving, mechanical parts and vibration, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and various levels of outside weather. For remote positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.Heres What Youll Need:

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years if non-degreed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Experienced with early works, civil, and transit/transportation construction
  • Excellent skills in environmental monitoring
  • A valid drivers licenseIdeally, youll also have:
    • Previous working experience in Infrastructure projects
    • Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
    • Good organizational skills
