Optometric Technician/Optician Responsibilities Assisting doctor with patients/hand off to optical Pretesting patients using various diagnostic instruments Preparing patients' records prior to their exams Access patient history in medical records Processing contact lens orders and returns Conduct contact lens training Optometric Technician/Optician Qualifications High level of initiative and works well in a team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven customer service skills in a patient care setting Optician Responsibilities (When needed) Dispensing glasses Merchandise frames and lenses VSP claims and billing Answer phones to schedule patients and answer general questions Have the willingness and flexibility to learn and adapt in a variety of situations Please include a cover letter along with your resume.
