Peter Pan Seafood Company, LLC., a newly formed Company in the
Alaskan Seafood industry is looking for individuals interested in
getting in on the ground floor of an employee friendly
organization. We will work with our team members to be the safest,
highest quality, lowest cost producer and the employer of choice in
the Alaska Seafood industry.
This position requires working as an HR Manager at one of our
remote seafood processing facilities in Alaska for up to 4 months a
year. This is a full-time, year-round paid position.
The right candidate will provide leadership and support in all
functional areas of human resources including employment, employee
records, employee relations, performance evaluations, employee
development, training and special projects. As a key member of the
plant management team provide sound advice and coaching to
department managers on all HR related areas that impact the

policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee
booklets, communications and/or meetings. Prepare reports in
conformance with legal and Company needs.
During off season, may have the opportunity to work a flexible
schedule from home subject to the needs of the Company.
Responsibilities May Include:
Establish and maintain employment practices and procedures in
accordance with plant and corporate guidelines and in compliance
with all local, state and federal employment laws including EEOC,
ADA, Civil Rights Act, and any applicable Affirmative Action
Plan and participate in performance management activities such as
disciplinary reviews, terminations, standard employee reviews and
succession planning. Documents appropriate information throughout
the performance management process.
Assist in recruiting efforts to ensure your facility is fully
staffed for production needs;
Provide proactive employee relations support including coaching,
counseling, investigations, and dispute resolution. Responds to
employee relations issues including employee complaints, harassment
allegations and civil rights complaints
Promote teamwork and interface with employees on continual basis.
Coordinates employee special events such as cook-outs and other

procedures and programs through coordination and consultation with
Human Resources Director;

At least 2 years HR Manager experience required. Previous
supervisory history desired but not required. Bachelor's degree a
plus. Relevant workplace experience may be a substitute for formal
