Short Description The logistics Supervisor is at the center of moving the Herc Rentals' fleet from location to location. The ideal person for this role is detailed, decisive, and excels at planning ahead. In this role you will:
Own all logistics and dispatch activities at the branch
Increase routing and delivery efficiencies that will result in reduction of excess expenditures
Be a key partner to all drivers and transportation vendors. Responsible for day-to-day management of the Accou Direct, Manage, and support drivers
Schedule delivery and pick up of equipment
Optimize routing of drivers by being a DOT Regulations expert
Review and analyze transportation expenses
Be the example of superior customer service
Generate, process, analyze and review the daily business reports
Support all team members RequirementsProfessional Experience Must be fluent in Rental Man Fluent with On the Go use Proficient in DOT Regulations Understands and applies load securement guidelines Educational Background High school or GED required, College Degree preferred Conditions of Employment 3 - 7 year of relatable experience A valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment Ability to communicate with customers Skills Our long-term strategy underscores the understanding that our success depends on the dedication and capability of our team members.
