Lead Carpenter / Master Carpenter - FT (from Woodinville to
Sammamish, WA) If you are looking for a home instead of a job If

Sammamish, they are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter. If

the team, then we want to talk with you! Essential Duties and
Responsibilities GENERAL CARPENTRY DUTIES: Perform carpentry at the
highest level as required. Understands the scope of the work and
discuss all requests for additional work with the PM. Understand
and assist with the cost update procedure. Participate in
pre-construction conference, jobsite inspections with the PM, local
building dept. inspections, and final (end of job) inspections with
the PM and the client. Maintain an organized field file that will
include a complete set of plans, specifications, cost codes used on
the job, constructions documents, engineer s reports (if any), and
misc. job communications. Order materials except as specified by
the PM and coordinate subcontractors. Code and forward all packing
slips to PM weekly. Responsible for onsite supervision & all
job-related carpentry, plan ahead for timely material deliveries
and subcontractor start dates, requesting help as required,
anticipating the need for additional carpenters so they can be
scheduled in a timely fashion. You are responsible for reporting
late subs, helping to resolve scheduling conflicts, and for keeping
the PM informed of job status. Miscellaneous other duties as
required. PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION: Review and understand project
management technology and documentation. Have a tool set that
enables you to perform a majority of tasks to a high standard.
Maintain record of work hours and ensure time sheets are cost coded
accurately. COMMUNICATION & DOCUMENTATION: Maintain daily contact
with the PM informing them of progress, delays, and/or any
surprises that arise. Document daily activities in BuilderTrend
using photos and descriptions. Follow directions for any changes on
an appropriate timeline. RELATIONSHIPS: You show up for life with

coworkers by dressing in clean clothes without holes or smell to
work in each day. ON-SITE LEAD DUTIES: Multi-task directing trades
and labor while you stay on schedule with accurate framing and
quality finish carpentry. Review and understand the scope of work,
schedule, materials, plans and budget for a project. Bring
questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention
of the Project Manager (PM) ahead of the project start date.
Understand the paperwork, plans and specifications, purchase
orders, subcontractor work orders, change orders. Plan ahead to
remove any obstacles before they affect the job s progress. Mark
rough in plumbing locations and Quality Control check before trade
leaves. Know electrical plan locations and Quality Control check
before trade leaves. Basic HVAC system understanding. Additional
duties, as needed and assigned. PERSONAL QUALITIES: Thoughtful
about how to get 2% better each day and have an eye for detail.
Will plan multiple steps ahead of the current task. Show that you
are honest, hard-working, ethical, polite, and professional daily.
Hold yourself to high standards. Excellent problem-solving ability.
Clean, neat hair and fingernails. Wear professional clothing
without rips or tears. Qualifications Must have 5+ years of
carpentry experience Must have 2+ years of working onsite
independently and directing trade partners Comply and maintain
non-smoker and drug-free policy Proficient computer skills
including all Microsoft services, basic office equipment, and
construction project management software (BuilderTrend preferred)
Maintain proper safety standards on site Valid Washington State
Driver s License, proof of insurance, good driving record, and
reliable transportation is required Must have smartphone and/or
tablet with data service Highly organized, takes
self-responsibility, high integrity, and accountability, you do the
