BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) Transportation Project Manager

HDR Engineering has an outstanding leadership opportunity for a Transportation Project Manager specializing in Bus Rapid Transit. This person will be joining HDR's strong, established regional BRT team and national BRT Practice Group. Working with these teams, they will have the opportunity to lead or support some of state's most complex and regionally significant transit and multimodal projects and drive HDR's BRT program growth in Washington.

The successful candidate will be client-focused and skilled at managing multidisciplinary transportation engineering design projects. Responsibilities include: project management (including planning, directing, and monitoring) of transportation projects from concept through final design; assisting with business development for the transportation market; management of sub-consultants and technical support staff; exceeding client expectations for quality, schedule and budget; maintaining close relationships with potential clients, tracking upcoming project opportunities, and collaborating on project pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10+ years related or equivalent experience including project management experience
• 3+ years of BRT specific experience
• PE license
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19. This position requires onsite client visits, or, this position will be co-located at the client site. The client requires all contractors/consultants/vendors who work or visit the site be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

The expected compensation range for this position is $104,510.00 - $171,695.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
