Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Incentive Compensation Analyst!

About the role

The incentive Compensation (IC) Analyst provides support for Symetra's incentive compensation calculation and payment process (using Anaplan system). This role performs analysis, reporting, and administration of all sales incentive compensation programs at Symetra.

What you will do

• 
  
• Conduct monthly incentive compensation admin duties within Anaplan (incentive compensation system), such as adding/ updating/ removing employees from system, managing access and management hierarchy, and performing quality control audits of monthly payments.

  • Provide support with data administration, data collection and aggregation, report refresh and improvement, and other data management activities as assigned; including ad hoc reporting and analysis support for Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) team.

    • Build a working understanding of Symetra's financial products, datainfrastructure, and sales incentive compensation programs and performance. Progressively become more proficient in answering standard IC payment/process questions from employees and business partners through concise and easy to understand written and verbal communications.
      Demonstrate an aptitude for learning Anaplan model building, progressing towards intermediate level usage of IC and FPA Anaplan models, with opportunities to grow into an advanced level of user expertise.
      
      
      
      
      Assist with incentive compensation plan document distribution process (utilizes Anaplan, DocuSign, Microsoft Power Automate, and SharePoint)
      
      
      

      
      Support accounting processes through preparing monthly Accrual and Deferred Acquisition Costs (DAC) Excel spreadsheets and booking journal entries (Lawson).

      Salary Range: $60,500 to $100,800 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
