Job Description As a Senior Technical Business Development Manager, you will drive strategic vendor partnerships for our AI initiatives by combining deep technical expertise with business acumen. You will independently manage complex vendor relationships, lead technical discussions, negotiate agreements, and identify opportunities to optimize our 3P vs 1P strategy, while serving as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and customers. Key job responsibilities Technical Leadership & Advisory: •/tLead technical discussions between vendors and internal stakeholders •/tProvide subject matter expertise in solution design and implementation •/tEvaluate technical feasibility and strategic fit of vendor solutions •/tTranslate complex technical requirements into business opportunities Strategic Business Development: •/tIndependently develop and execute vendor management strategies •/tIdentify and evaluate 3P vs 1P opportunities •/tCreate and optimize business models for vendor partnerships •/tDrive program roadmaps and execution excellence Relationship & Contract Management: •/tNegotiate and structure complex vendor agreements •/tBuild and maintain strategic relationships with senior vendor executives •/tManage challenging customer relationships and expectations •/tDrive vendor performance and accountability through accurate scorecards and adopting relevant business metrics Analytics & Performance Management: •/tDefine and track vendor KPIs •/tConduct data-driven analysis to support strategic decisions •/tLead risk mitigation and quality assurance initiatives •/tDevelop performance improvement strategies BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5 years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience - 5 years of professional or military experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations - Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
