Smartsheet is looking for a sales leader to lead a team of Account Executives as a Large Enterprise Sales Manager - Select Accounts. You will have a proven track record of leading a team to over performance in quota attainment , developing and growing Global 2000 accounts. You will manage a team focused on rapidly growing software sales in a defined set of large accounts. You will report to our Director of Select Accounts -- Large Enterprise. You Will:--

  • Lead a US sales team to exceed quarterly and annual software and services sales quotas by accelerating current spend within accounts
  • Be a player/coach in the execution of a complex, high value solution-based sales process encompassing multiple groups within Global 2000 accounts--
  • Play leadership role in developing sales opportunities by coaching Account Executives in building repeatable plays and custom targeted campaigns that create sales pipeline and result in over-performance vs. goals
  • Foster Smartsheet senior executive engagement in target accounts to develop new business opportunities
  • Successfully execute across all disciplines of sales management, including Account/Opportunity/Relationship planning, sales process execution and accurate sales forecasting
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, Strategic Sales Development and Marketing management to determine account strategies that promote sales velocity and rapid account expansion
  • Actively use Smartsheet's core applications to manage business, including Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Tableau, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo and others
  • Oversee Account Executive's in building territory plans that results in sales expansion across a large number of accounts and ensures the achievement of annual quota goals
  • Other duties as assigned You Have:--
    • Demonstrated track record in leading Large Enterprise SaaS sales teams to exceed quotas by winning new business and driving substantial growth in Global 2000 accounts
    • Experience driving Large Enterprise sales teams in performing land---and---expand sales strategies to predictably promote aggressive growth in Global 2000 accounts
    • 3 years experience in sales management of enterprise software, preferably Enterprise SaaS teams
    • 5+ years of experience in the software industry with current SaaS technology, preferably on the business applications side (selling to sales, marketing, HR, operations, finance)
    • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Motivate and lead; embody Smartsheet's core values
    • Experience with The Challenger Sales Methodology
    • Experience working in a fast---paced, high-growth software company where change is a constant
