This position will be in support of Stantec Insight Analytics and the Digital Solutions Team.In this role we are looking for a positive team player who is self-motivated, driven to lead sales efforts and execute our sales playbook. You will enjoy working in a dynamic team setting, and understand the lifecycle of the sales process, to keep the team competitive and innovative. In this role, you will work collaboratively within a matrixed team working across all of Stantec's markets to develop and facilitate pursuits and lead sales opportunities.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve growth and hit sales targets by leading pursuits starting with lead identification to contractingCreate a calendar of activities and action items that address the wide-range of tasks unique for each sales leadCreate and manage sales presentations, demos, and meetings with the involvement and support of othersEngage with leads generated by our marketing team and sales campaignsDevelop and maintain thorough product knowledge of SIA SolutionsMaximize the sales performance by establishing strong relationships and gaining insight to the needs of clients, partnering closely with Account Managers and Product OwnersQualify and generate leads and grow existing client relationshipsManage and update the sales pipelineAdjust sales techniques based on interactions and resultsAs needed, write persuasive and compelling proposal sections tailored to the requirements; edit firm and staff qualifications to meet the project scope and strategy; edit technical writing; and collaborate with technical staff, proposal managers, and graphic designers to illustrate major points and benefits of the solutionUpselling and cross selling solutions with existing client baseQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsStrong understanding of the sales lifecycle; procurement process with local governmentCommitted to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferencesDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationProven ability to drive the sales process from lead to contractingStrong business sense and industry expertiseExcellent people management skills including in cross functional teamsMust have availability to work hours necessary to complete deadlinesStrong organization and time management skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office suiteTravel requirement may range from 10-20%Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years of experience in sales within a technology settingExperience in Government, Architecture/Engineering/Construction or other professional services industry is preferredThis description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other's talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
